If you have a wireless mouse it will come up with the receiver in other words it is also known as Dongle. In case the receiver of your wireless mouse is lost, broken, or not working. What should you do in such a case?
Either you need to order a new mouse or you have to order the receiver. But I have an answer to your question on “how to connect wireless mouse to laptop without receiver?” So, let’s begin with our article.
Different Methods to connect Wireless mouse to Laptop without Receiver:
First Method
Step 1– You can turn on Your Laptop and mouse. Then you need to select the Start button, then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.

Step 2– There you will see the option of Turn on/off Bluetooth. You need to turn it on. You will see “+ Add Bluetooth or other devices” on the very top and you need to click on it.

Step 3– Now, it will pop up a new window with different options like Bluetooth (Mice, Keyboards, pens or audio, and other kinds of Bluetooth devices). You need to click on the Bluetooth option.
Step 4– It will start doing the scan and search nearby devices that are available in your network. Once it will be done check if your mouse name is available or not. If it is available then you can click on it and you will be good to go.

Step 5– If not then you need to press and hold the left, right, and middle scroll button of your mouse for 5 seconds at least. Then it will show you the mouse name and you can select it and it will start working.
Second Method
In the market you will be able to get the unifying receiver which are re-programmable and can work with your wireless mouse.

Third Method
If your receiver/dongle is lost, broken, or not working then you can call the customer service of the brand you are using (example: Dell, HP, Logitech, etc.) and tell them that your receiver is lost or not working with your mouse.
They will ask you some general questions like the model number of your mouse, how old is it? and once they are done. They will send you the receiver at your home and it will start working.

Step 5: The confirmation screen will pop up when your device is connected. Now you need to move the mouse and check if it is working or not?

Step 6: If it is working then Select the Yes option and if it not working then you can select the No option on the screen.
Step 7: It will give you an on-screen option to restart your mouse again. Do that and click next on the screen.
Step 8: Again, the Confirmation screen will pop up on the screen and you will see that your mouse is working now.
